Mission Statement
Ditty Dats & Dogs Rescue works to save the lives
of wonderful pets from rural and high-kill animal
shelters. We also strive to reduce the
over-population of dogs and cats by spaying and
neutering all rescued pets.

About Us
The virtual door for rescue work was opened in the
summer of 2007. Ditty Dats & Dogs Rescue is the
run by one person - Barbara Tilton. All funding for
the care of the animals is paid by her unless
donations are received. This is an all volunteer
not-for-profit organization that works tirelessly to
help save the lives of pets in need. Ditty Dats &
Dogs Rescue has no facility, so all rescued dogs &
cats live in foster homes until approved adoptive
homes can be found.
The day starts by taking care of the foster pets -
feeding, walking, and of course showing
affection! Then, it's on to email to read about all the
pets that need help. After making necessary
decisions on which pets can be rescued, if any for
that day, it's off to the regular full-time job! Then we
come home and the pattern starts over!
