The EDS Quads!!!
Ditty Dats & Dogs Rescue
2/10/08 : Rebel and Stripe were adopted today!!!  They were
adopted together so will be able to grow up together!  Rebel has
been renamed "Tank".  Stripe's name will most likely change,
but they haven't thought of the perfect name for him yet!  I'm so
happy that all of the EDS QUADS have found loving "fur-ever"
homes!

1/6/08 : Astro has been adopted!  Rebel & Stripe are hoping to
have new homes soon too!

12/18/07 : Blueberry has been adopted!!!  Also, Rebel, Stripe &
Astro will be spayed/neutered on January 7, 2008.

11/29/07 : In a few weeks these four babies will be spayed &
neutered then placed up for adoption.  New pictures have been
posted here so that you can see how absolutely adorable they
are!  We are hoping that they can be in their new homes soon -
wouldn't it be nice for them to be home for Christmas?  They
were posted to www.PetFinder.com today, as we are now taking
applications for them.

11/18/07 : Stripe is now a very friendly boy, and he no longer feels
the need to hiss.  He climbs all over me with the others like my
legs are a jungle gym!  All four of the babies are very precious.
Rebel is the biggest one - he has such a fat belly now that he
waddles - it's too darn cute!  Blueberry is definitely a girly-girl.
She has the sweetest face and disposition.  And, last but not
least, Astro is the one that is full of the most mischief.  When I'm
sitting on the floor she likes to go behind me and attack my hair!

11/12/07 : Little Stripe is starting to give into peer pressure!!!
LOL.  Today when I walked into the kittens room Blueberry, Astro
and Rebel came running up to me and meowing.  I sat down and
they proceeded to use me like a jungle gym!  They are very
affectionate now.  Stripe was peeking around the corner at me
then finally came toddling over.  He let me pet him and then he
curled up in my lap and started to purr.  He actually has the
loudest purr out of the four of them!  He's still shy so I think it is
going to take some time before he's completely convinced that
he should be my friend!  He has made some wonderful progress
in such a short amount of time though.

11/08/07 : The fourth kitten was caught today!  Yay!  They are
acclimating quite well to living indoors.  Three of them are now
convinced that people are fun and they are no longer fearful.
Poor little "Stripe" is still very unsure of people and will hiss and
spit when you go near him.  It will probably take another week or
so before he'll be fully convinced that people are great fun to be
around!  All of the babies have now been named as well.

Blueberry
Astro
Rebel
Stripe

11/07/07 : A third kitten was trapped today!  We now have two females and one male.  The two girls have been named "Astro"
and "Blueberry".  We're still coming up with a good name for the
boy!  There is at least one more kitten that is still outside and
needs to be trapped.  Hopefully we can get him tomorrow.

11/05/07 : Today two feral kittens were trapped at the EDS
campus in Herndon, Virginia.  Their two siblings successfully
evaded the traps, but will hopefully be caught tomorrow.  It's
getting very cold outside, and the hope is to get them inside
where it's warm!  These babies will be socialized, vetted when
old enough, then they will be placed up for adoption.  They are
estimated to be 4 weeks old right now and are absolutely
adorable!  These two little fuzzy guys are going to make
wonderful family friends.  Pictures coming soon!  Stay tuned for
more updates!!!!
